I think his campaign party SHOULD be afraid of racism. Many people still do hate blacks. But many people dont care about color also. But the racists might be the only thing that keeps him from getting elected. But its too hard to tell right now.

I really enjoyed reading the article. I liked the article because even though many of those topics had been publicized before, i liked reading them myself. I liked that it talked about Obama's inexperience. It talks about his weakness, not just his strengths. I think that the race issue is not important when it comes to leading our country. I know that a lot of people are still racist, but it shouldn't be an issue. We need a leaader like Obama, someone who wants change.

Unknown said...

This was a really long article but i learned a lot from it. Before reading this i didnt understand how the racial issue was such a big deal. I think its stupid that some people wont even listen to what Obama has to say because of his race. Reading this article sorta changed my mind about Obama because i never really liked him that much but he has to go through a lot for people even to listen to what he has to offer.

Unknown said...

i believe that obama does a lot of talking and im not very sure he can be trusted because of his muslim background.

mike adams said...

The article makes me very interested in the current election. It shows what Obama really has to offer and I am ready to read the article for McCain to see what he also has to offer. In my opinion Obama truly does want to change what is going on in America, and I think this article expresses that he has seen enough to understand what is wrong, and has a plan on how to fix it.

Chelsie said...

I think Barack Obama should be the next president. Yes, racism is an issue but I think we should see past the color of his skin, and concentrate on his good ideas to help us. And the fact that he used to be muslim doesnt matter, or even if he was still muslim he can run this country better than the past few presidents have.

Katrina said...

I have always liked obama. He supports many of the same things that i do. My aunt is a Democrat but is voting Republican this year because the things he's supporting goes against her religion which i respect. I'm surprised that it isn't because of his race. She is from that period where everyone was racist. Alot of people will vote for McCain because he is white. I don't think people should vote that way. But i guess that is what they believe. I do like Obama though. I read Megan's comment and i have to agree that he is a little shady. I had never really thought about it before. It makes me think.

Unknown said...

My oppion on Obama is that we shouldn't judge him on his religious back ground becuase it even says in the constitution that we have a freedom of religon . So why should it matter if he has a muslim back ground. I also believe the fact that he member of the senate during the busch presidency will help be able to fix some of the things that george w. did wrong.

Unknown said...

I belive that Obama should not play the race card, i don't look at him as a black candidate, I look at him as the Democratic candidate. He has played the race card a few times and it wasn't very popular. Also his religous back ground should be put to a halt, his past family was muslim, but he is not, people need to relize that! I did enjoy this article, i did learn a little but i already knew most of the information.

I don't really like politics, and this article was kind of hard for me to read. At the same time it was really interesting to find out more about Obama. Obama is the canditate I would vote for because he is offering America a change we need. The only real problem with him being elected is what the white superimaces will do. Some of them might be crazy enough to make America mourn another Lincoln, Garfield, McKinnley and Kennedy.

MaRiSsA* said...

Well.. first of all, I agree with Megan it was quite long. But I think that Obama should be the next president. Racism will be a problem, but Obama is out to change America and I think that is what this country needs.

kelsey said...

so i read this article and it really didnt make me think much. everything it said i already knew. This is a rascist country so go figure people are going to go against him because of his race and religion and all that but that dont affect my views of him. I honestly could care less he is who he is and maybe his race could make him a better president..but i agree with megan to that some parts of him are way to shady. i think everyone should just stop being scared of his apperance and look at his beliefs and not his religion or skin color and get ready for the change he's gunna bring us in a few months which we most def. need right now! (yes i know this makes me no since but i dont know how else to word it)

I havent really been following this campaign very closely, but after reading this article it makes me very interested in how this election will turn out. I think that Obama has good motives and I do think that he could make change, but the problem is he has too many things that he wants to do. I don't think he can accomplish all of them because a lot of them such as the price of oil and the war in Iraq are going to take a lot of effort and time. He is going to be hard pressed to live up to all of the things that he said he is going to do. If he doesn't have hold on some things by 2012 I think that it could ruin his chances for reelection. But as for getting elected in the first place, people shouldn't judge him by his religion. Is he not a citizen of the United States of America? And aren't we the country that gives each of its citizens the right to practice whichever faith they want? I just don't get it.

Unknown said...

Hey Mr Lynch. I don't really know how to do this but here goes. I strongly believe that Barack Obama would be a great president. I would have to agree that racism is and always will be an issue but I think that their are way more Americans against racism than for it. The most convincing thing that Obama wants is change. His whole campaign is based on how he plans to reshape the U.S. and make it a better place to live and if he were to do so he would go down in history as a great president.

Mindy said...

I think obama will be a good president even though he is black. I think obama really wants to change America, and fix the things that have went wrong

allana said...

i think that the reason he has become a fore-runner is because of his optimism. especially now, people need something positive to look forward to. and since hope and change are exactly what his campaign is about, people are following that, and for good reason.

Kelsey Gates said...

I don't think that the color of Obama's skin matters. What would America do if both of the candidates were black, and they both had black vice presidents? It doesn't matter what they look like, it's what they have to offer. I learned a lot from this article that I didn't know before. His background shows me that he can relate to many different kinds of people, and that's what we need-a president that everyone can trust. I think that America is more willing to have a black American as our president than to have a woman as our vice president.

Unknown said...

Hey Mr.Lynch!! I really don't know what to think about this article. I think that Obama has a slim chance of getting elelcted because he is a black man. Racism is still a bid issue with this country. I just wish people could look past color and focus on what Obama is saying. I think that its really cool that Obama wants the war in Iraq to be over and so do I. I really don't like war its scary to know that we have people acrossed the ocean that don't like us and want us dead. Not only that but our friends, and family are over there fighting and dying. War is scary. Well thats my comment. I hope its a good one. See ya at school.

jenna said...

Hey Mr.Lynch what is up? nothing here just reading this boring thing about obama. Politics really don't interest me so yeah, but i did like how they showed the many different sides of him. And by the way this is really long!!!!! I do like obama better than McCaine but if he becomes President he might get asassinated beause there are stil alot of racis people. Because the old ladies that i clean house for i asked their perspective and one of them said that "she didn't want any black man running her country!" im not saying that they will asassinate him if he becomes president but alot of older people are kinda racis. And there are many that don't care about color.I don't know it could go either way.

Unknown said...

That article was way to long i had to read it out loud so i would stay on subject. I hope he does get elected president so rasism wont be as bad

Unknown said...

That article was very intence.. But over all i think that it was a pretty good article kind of hard to understand in some spots. I think that his backround information would make him a good president.. But its hard to tell with the information given.

Unknown said...

My comments about this long artical are about the same as before i read it. One thing obama says is " there's not a black america and a white america and latino america and asian america: there's the united states of america." in my eyes its very true. i honestly dont want mccain in office..we need to get the republican out of office. obama talks about his single-prayer health-care system and about the military. my oppinion on the military issue is as this i think that yes we should pull out of there but then as soon as we take all of our trrops out the overseas people are going to be over here quicker then ever. yes my father is currently over there again for his 3rd or 4th time since 911 but that is why i think like i do with the military. About his race i honestly hear about him getting assinated because hes black or because of his religion the way i look at it everyone wants bush out then why would you stick someone in the spot to fill for 8 more years all because of someones race or religion we all knew one day there would be a women running and someday a black but why all the contraversy because it finally happend?? well i think im going to end on this note.. hopefully this comment is ok and long enough.

I like the fact that he seems to view people not just from the "white man" point of view and he seems to be a peoples man. I think he is a wild card and I'm still not sure even now all that he stands for and is, but I like what he is saying about change because i definitely believe that this country needs a change in the economy, foreign policies and our environmental policies. I like what this guy is saying and I just hope that that is what he really stands for.

Tabi said...

I read the article and i think obama thinks to much of himself, because he seems to think that people hate him or wont vote for him just because he is black. I dont see why the color of his skin has anything to do with the presidency but it does. I also think that obama is not looking at all the facts he just asumes that people are not voteing for him for that reason and its not the only reason why hes not getting the votes i understand that religon, and the color of your skin and so many more things are important in the runnings for president but i belive that obama is concentrateing to much on some of those things when he should be worried about what McCain is doing to get ahead of him in the ellection. I have allways liked obama and the things he says hes going to do, but he deffinitly has to improve on some things before he can run this country.

Alyssa H said...

I think that Barak Obama should be elected as president. The reason why, I think this is because he would be a good leader for the United States to follow. For example, he is trying to get people to cut down on the racism. Barak as being black wants other blacks to be treated equally just as the white men are. He knows he can not change everyones opinion on the equlity of the blacks vs. the whites but he might be able to change the votes of people if they listen to what he has to say. He isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in and hopefully one day he can make a CHANGE in the world.

Megan said...

I like McCain. I'm not saying he would make the best president but he sure does have honor for his country. I like the fact that when he makes up his mind, that's it. He knows what he wants and he's willing to say some things to convince others. I know most Americans are all about "change" and say McCain won't change anything..but he's obviously doing something right if he's gotten this far in the election.

Brittany said...

The article was long, but still interesting. I liked hearing about Obamas background. Obama has good ideas for the future. He is a postive guy and also wants change the world, both of those are what the American people are looking for. That is why I think he would be a good president. A major problem would be all the racism still in the world. Too many people judge by the color of your skin. So it should be interesting see how is elected.

Unknown said...

I really think that Obama would make a good presadent because the white house has never had a African American and I would really like to see what Obama would do to the United States if he won But only time will tell if Obama has what it takes to be in the white house.

sarah_liz2010 said...

I think this article was good because it gave several different points of view about Barak Obama's campaign. Personally, I think Obama is a smooth talker who probably also has very good speech writers. He seems like he has the potential to be a good leader, though. He has a good head on his shoulders and a background that is real and something that many Americans can relate to. But he is at somewhat of a disadvantage because of his race. Racism is still a fairly big problem in the United States.

Obama talks a lot about the change he wants to bring to our country and how he plans to build a working America again. Who knows, maybe him being president will be a good change...

kody waggoner said...

I think that the current election has two very different candidates. Obama I believe will certainly have an issue with race. This country may be great, but not flawless. A large part of our population is still racial which is definately a problem. With that also goes that fact that McCain has been in office for 20 years and Obama's political record shows his inexperience. But at the same time our country does need change. Either way Obama has a tough road ahead of him.

Kimberly said...

well, i do agree that it is long but there is a lot to be covered. obama talks a lot about his family and the family history. i liked the article, but the question is will the "changes" he portrays actually happen?

Tiffany Buckner said...

After I read this article I think that just because there is some racism due to him being different color should not stop people from electing him as our next president. I think he could change alot of things in the United States.

Yancee said...

Barack Obama keeps people listening by the many parts of his background. He has experienced so, many of these things first hand. He scares people about the unknown or uncertain areas of his opinion or beliefs. Race is a huge part of his campaign but, which direction is he going with it. He thinks the government needs to think about all people in the United States.

Unknown said...

Hey Mr. Lynch!! This article is very interesting. I think that Obama would be a great president because of the fact that he agrees on many of the same issues that I do. I think he would make a great president cuz he wants to change things for the better.

Rachel said...

I have read through some of the other comments and I would have to agree this is a major thing for most people.  Some people dont care about racism at all but it effects others lives.  I think Barack being elected would help with with the racism subject I would hope.

Unknown said...

I really don't follow this political sfuff closly and really don't understand the political stuff. Reading the article didn't changed my mind about Obama becoming president. I don't think the world is ready for a black president and he's just trying to get rid of the racism in the US. His campaign is about racism and I believe that racism will always be a problem. I also don't believe the things that he is all about. Everything he is fighting for and believes in are not my same beliefs.

Sierra Helderman said...

I think that this article shows Americans that Obama is the right person to be the next President because he is taking in both sides of whites and blacks and what is best for them. Yes racism is a problem but I think its always going to be a problem but we have to look at all the great things that Obama is offering to America and how much we need the changes that he is willing to change. We can not just go off of the skin color because that would be like looking at a book and making a guess of what it was about and not even reading it. Yes there are people out there that think its not right to have a colored man for President and they think that they can change it just like at the speech his wife gave about two weeks ago there was people already trying to shot and kill Obama but then there are others that think he is a great guy and the next President. That is why I think this election is going to be a very close election on some states.

elliott minge said...

Hey Mr. lynch, so this was an interesting aritcle. The fact that so many different rumors and sides to obama can be summed up into a reliable article is great. Rumors fly nonstop and to be able to lay them all on the table really helps with the every day person who only gets half of the rumor. Ive noticed that alot of people have commented on the muslum claim. Based on all evidence available to the public obama is not muslum nor ever has been. There is a separation of church and state so wheather he is muslum or not would not effect his general governing capabilities, but then you have to think about how he will use his religion to influence his decisions. I have went off on a random tangent, so i will end the comment here.

Unknown said...

I think he is going to be a good leader. I think he doesnt have to worry about the racial statments. I do think he is inexperience but he picked a guy that did have experience. I like the idea of change so i belive that he would be a good president.

Sierra Helderman said...

I think that racism is always going to be a problem in this world and that hopefully this election will change some peoples minds about thta and that people would just listen with the ears and not look at what they see because Obama has alot of great changes for America but most people look and see that he is black and don't listen to all the great things he is offering to us. I fhe is elected I hope that he no one tries to kill him like those few men who showed up at the speech that his wife gave about two weeks ago trying to shot Obama that would be the only bad thing about Obama getting elected is that he would just have to be careful because there are crazy people that try some crazy things and I'm hoping that if he gets elected taht people will just listen and not go off of just the cover with out opening up and seeing whats inside.

I thought the article was pretty interesing. Personaly i believe that Obama can make changes, but he is trying to do alot and i'm not sure if he can do all that he wants to do. I also kinda don't agree with people who say that you can't trust him, just because his family's background was muslim doesn't mean that hes a terrorist or anything like that. I kinda like obama I really believe in him i think it would be great for him to become the first black president.

SIERRA said...

I think that Obama has a good strong chance at winning. He seems to want to actually help this country and see helpful changes done. I think that alot of people in this country do judge people by the outside and not the inside and their ideas which might be a big flaw in the political part of this campaign.

MaRiSsA* said...

Personally, i am for Obama in this 2008 election. I do not think that McCain should be president because of the fact that he had to go to a prison camp for 5 and a half years and is "a breaker of rules, a brawler and a slob." Also, McCain does not have a plan for how he is going to change the country. Obama is out to change the world, and has his goals set. That is someone i want running my country.

kody waggoner said...

McCain i believe has the better experience and wisdom as far as politics goes. In his earlier days he was quite a screw up but after being kept in a vietnamese prison for 5 and a half years, he has become quite a bit more reformed. It changed him from a man with an attitude problem to a very experienced politician. His ideas and views I believe are right, but I also do not think he is going to be the change that our country needs at this point.

Kimberly said...

mccain is more talking about the environment and what is going on in the world instead of helping or choosing something. he also mentions a lot about the military.

I think that he should be our next president. Racism is still around today and I think that will be a problem in getting elected as president. He wants change and many people want that to but wont even listen to him because he is black and I think that is so dumb.

I think that Obama has faced some hardships but I think he will pull through to win the election. I believe that the racism could be a problem just because of ignorant people who still think that people are better based on race. Well in any case, it will be interesting to see how this turns out

wow!!! Well, i never knew that he wrote books that's for sure. And to be honest i don't really like McCain. It seems like he isn't worried about the country enough. Something about him worries me. I also didn't know that he had a family history of war. I thought that was pretty neat.

ya so i just read this extremely long article, and i didnt learn much about barak obama. ok so i dont know if this is where to post the McCain response or not but hopefully it is....so i just read this article and from what i read it seems as though this man loves to make trouble and live in it unless i misunderstood what i read which is possible. but why would we want someone in charge of us if he has caused problems in the past theres a good chance he'll just make even more and perferably i can live without it for the next 8 years. on the other hand he has done some good things for the country. i didnt know anything about this man at all except he was old and a war vet/prisner of war and reading this i decided im still the Obama fan.

i think that barak obama will not become president! mostly because of his race! there are alot of people in the united states that do not like black people. just because that is how they were raised! i did learn alot from this article and it was very good and long

I belive that McCain will just get us into more trouble than we are already in. He talks about folling people to the gates of hell, but we as a country still havent killed the people that killed all those on 9/11. He has no economic sense, and his VP's 17 year old Daughter is haven a kid!! The only reason McCain has gotten so far is because all the other people droped out! i was shocked when i found out the McCain was the partys choice. He is not the best choice for this election period.

Unknown said...

Reading this article made me not like McCain even more. I think since he has had problems in the past that he will just bring our country more trouble. Also i dont like the fact that he follows Bush because the last eight years Bush has been in office really sucked and i think that John McCain will just folow in his footsteps. I dont think he will help the country at all.

Alyssa H said...

Even though I may not think that John McCain would be a good president, but I do believe that he is a good man for these reasons. He is a good man because he is honest. He believes that if you tell the truth that you are very honorable. He knows what honorable is because he fought for this country for many years when he was younger and so on. He is also a good man because he tends to put other people infront of him and likes to get them there wants and needs before his own.

Kirsten Cassady said...

I believe from reading this Article and also talking to my family about it that McCain is just a lot of talk, and I think he thinks he's just gonna talk his way into presidency but also get a boost from having a female VP. And for talking a lot about military and being a hero he sure didn't do much. McCain was a Prisoner of War, oh sure you were tortured every day for the sake of your people, but really does that make you a hero? You weren't battling on the ground with your comrades. And how do WE know that they actually tortured him? I don't really like McCain. I have my reasons and people have theres. I don't think if I could vote I would vote for someone that might die within the first term in office. I'd like the president I vote for to live.

after reading about mccaine im still an obama fan.. i dont like the way mccain talks about everything but what the u.s. wants.. i think him choosing the girl for vice was a mistake. the artical didnt interest me much.. the mccaine one was better.. i defently dont want another 8 yrs of bush and if mccain gets president that how it will be. last and final i want to see change and mccain just aint showin hes goin to do that and obama i think will make a change.

Unknown said...

I think McCain isn't really honorable but thats my thought. But I also think that he might be the one as president. We'll see in November. lol Even though McCain wants to live up to some things that Pres. Bush is doing doesn't make it right for him to change the looks of himself. hehehe lol

Tabi said...

I do not think that John McCain will make a good president because he has had so many problems of his own. I think that america has enough problems without haveing a leader that has more problems. I also think that the fact that he has been in a camp for over 5 years and has been in trouble with the law before helps his campaign either. As you can see im all for Obama and the reason why is because Obama seems to have a better perspective on things than what McCain has.

Brittany said...

The McCain article was interesting. I like how he wasn't afraid to tell people about his past and him getting in trouble and doing bad things. It just shows that he is human, although I think he might have taken it a little too far at times. One of the major things that I was impressed by was the fact that he would rather kill himself than betray his country, that is really saying something about him. Also in the article it said that he believes in honor, telling the truth, doing the right thing even if its not the easy thing to do. I think that is good and that is how it should be. McCain has good views and ideas and I just wonder who will become president!!

Unknown said...

On the subject of John McCanes code of honor really said to me that what happenes in the presadent and i think that McCane would really try to do something with america.

This article really only talked about his honors. It seems like he is more into the environment than our country. And that is kinda suprising since he served for our country. allana said...

i respect mccain for his honor to our country, however, this is not the one requirment to become president. i beleive that out country needs change and that he is not the man for the job. you can't keep doing the same thing and expect different results. and what is being done in our country right now is not working.

But the election of 08' will be a racist election

I did not know John McCain was a war prisoner for 5 1/2 years. He is all about honor first and that is really important. I think his real life things he has been thru can make his do good things for the US. He sounds like he is tough and stands his ground and thats what we need.

Sierra Helderman said...

I think that McCaine is just there for himself and people like George Bush to make sure that live a good life with lots of money from there oil placies and for the rest of use to suffer because all he thinks about is himself and the other rich inconsiderate people and if he made that many mistakes in his younger years then what kind of mistakes is he going to make when he is President. I also don't agree with him about the war either I think that we should bring them home not let them stay till we win because who nows how long that will be. That is why I think if McCaine becomes President then why not elect George W. Bush again because that is what people are doing if McCaine gets elected is electing a split image of George W. Bush.

Kelsey Gates said...

I don't think that McCain has as many plans for the country as Obama does, or the world. McCain seems to be too concerned with his past experiences in the war and being a POW. He just seems like he likes trouble, and that's not someone who we need to take control of our country!

I found the article to be very interesting. I had not known that McCain had such values. This has definately changed my views on him considerably. John McCain isn't what this country needs in my opinion. Reading this article didn't change my mind in any way, he still doesn't seem like a strong enough person to control a whole country.

In all honesty I have no opinion in this election at all, simply because I don't really care for either McCain or Obama (plus, I can't vote). But then again, I can recognize that both canidates have their strong points. McCain seems to be a bit wiser and more experienced in politics than Obama, but if he's planning on sticking with the tactics Bush has used in the previous years, I don't think America will get anywhere with troubles we are having overseas. Also, having a step brother who is in the army and will be stationed in Afgahnistan soon, I'd like to see us bringing troops back home as soon as possible.

But on a positive note, McCain has the same moral values I do about being pro-life. I'm very back and forth on this whole issue...

John McCain is definitely one individual who loves his country and will do anything for it's assistance. His experiences I think will come to be beneficial to his campaign and his presidency if he should win this election.

I didnt really like this article becuase it didnt talk and go into detail about what he stood for other than honor, and what his policies are. I would like to read a different one to make more conclusions about him.

I think that McCain does not deserve to win this coming election because in my opinoin he does not have the intentions that Obama does to change this country and how it is ran. All McCain really has going for him is he is a war vet.

I do not agree with most of McCain's ideas; however, I do respect him in what he has already done for this country. I truly think that he has almost "too" much pride and honor in himself since the majority of the article mentions his "honor". I know people are nagging about Obama's religious backgrounds, but at least he has not been kept in a prison for five and a half years. Come on people...

Looking over other comments it seems that everyone is commenting on the racism in this article. John McCain will never be able to effectively run a smear campaign against Obama. This is becuase when it starts to get rough or dirty good old Reverend Jesse Jackson comes in with his "charity" and pulls out the racism card. John McCain is not a racist but if he wanted to use racism in his campaign i say let him use all that he can muster. He will be punished for it in the outcome of the election. I sort of got off track, so i like this article rather for the same reasons i liked Obamas. The facts are layed out on the table straight forward for you to interpret and opionize how you wish.

John McCain, for most of his life was not the same man he is today. The experiences he has had and went through made him who he is, and I think he would know what to do when it comes to war and many other things. I think that Sarah Palin and John McCain are very good candidates for the US.

Well I personally don't like McCain. He does have a lot of expeirence and he did fight for our country. We don't need another Bush though. America needs to get away from what Bush has done to this country. If we continue down the same road America may fall economically. So I say no to McCain!

McCain I know as gotten into fights and seems like all he does is cause trouble. But he is sticking up for what he believes in. When he was in the prison camps he got beaten a lot all because he would stick up for what he believed and would not back down. He is very head strong and will do what he thinks is right no matter what. I think he is a great guy and has done a lot for his country and could be a very good president.

I never liked McCain and never will. The way I see it Obama wants to make the world a better place and help in the generations to come. McCain being from the same party as Bush wants to keep alot of things the same. I believe that Bush was a bad president and McCain will be too. OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

I liked reading this article it was long but i learned some stuff about John that i didn't know. Personaly i dont think he will make that good of a president but i do like him. I don't like his obsession with honnor it's kind of annoying. I just think that Obama will do alot better.

I did want McCain as president. But now im not so sure. Because he does say he will do one thing and does something else. And im wondering if he would even change the situations today people are worried about. So as of right now im not sure who i want as president.

I didnt really pay any attention to McCain at first but now that I see that he has picked a strong person for his vice-president I started to pay attention to him. He has alot of the same beliefs that I have been raised with being a military brat so I think that with his views and his experience as a Vet and civilian he has alot that young Obama cant handle. With Palin as his vice president they will be a very powerful team and I think people are scared of that. No one knows what it is like to live in Alaska or be in combat or prisoner of war unless they have done it and then you will have respect and realize that they know more and will think before they act because what they have been through and how strong things like that make you. If you have just been a young sheltered pup and havent really had experiences in the political field all that much then you will make more mistakes and this country dont need mistakes we been through alot lately and we need the least amount possible. McCain being from the same party as Bush is a bogus reason for people not to like him. He is a different guy with a different way to think. What about Obama being from the same party as Clinton but no we dont hold that against him. SO I think that Palin and McCain are one heck of a team and should really be looked at for their political side and how they will do in that since.

i don't think mccain will become president because he reminds me too much of president bush and in his speeches he brings up what happened to him in the war so that we would feel sorry for him but trying to make someone feel pitty for u is not a good way to get wat u want and that shows that mccain is weak

I think McCain is a great hero to his country and has done a pretty good job in the Senate. I think he is really full of himself thought. I don't think he has what it takes to lead the country, but thats just me. I liked reading about his background and think its good that he stands for what he believes in.

I enjoyed reading this article but i dont think that racism will really turn the voting that much even do to the large amount that are racist. I will find it as some what of a shock and disappointment if he loses the election do to racism. I hope that us as a country will see past the color of skin and down to the issues. Besides i would rather have a black president if i was racist than an old man that could keal over any second. Austin Lamb

Sorry i forgot to comment on the article, I don't like McCain but I do like his article, pretty straight forward.

I like the man McCain, but i don't think that i would like the president McCain. His foreign policies in Iraq scare me and even more than that his ideas towards Russia. I beleive that this guy is a good man but there are too many things about his campaign and his policies, especially environmental and on oil, that make me not want to vote for him. As I said before he seems like a great person but his foreign and environmental stuff just scare the bejesus out of me.

i believe that john mccain should be honored as a war here, but he doesn't belong in the white house. He has made to many dumb moves in the senate and he will do the same if he gets to the white house. He is also good freinds with the current president and agrees wit him all the time if we want change obama is the way to go.
